Meet Lesley Brooks

Owner of Brooks Accounting

Lesley (Broyles) Brooks was born and raised in Shenandoah. Early on she developed her love for accounting working as the cash register girl at Spencer's Grocery in Shenandoah, IA, standing on a milk crate to be tall enough to reach the buttons. During high school she took accounting classes and worked at a bank, kicking off her career. She has worked in the field of Accounting since her senior year of high school and earned Magna Cum Laude status graduating from Graceland University in 2006. 

Working in the accounting department for a few different employers over the years has helped Lesley to grow her knowledge and understanding of accounting. She enjoys most getting to know the clients and their needs–especially if they need help with accounting software and/or payroll. Lesley will take an individualized approach with each client to help in any way possible to streamline the accounting process with flexibility to work remotely or come to your business to help with your accounting needs.

Lesley and her husband Craig live in the country near the family farm outside of Farragut with their two daughters.
